Please complete the following form to enable Fovia to determine your eligibility for a research-only license to use Fovia's High Definition Volume Rendering® software. This information will be sent to Fovia. Fovia reserves the right to decline any application for a research-only license in its sole and absolute discretion. Any inaccurate information will invalidate your license to use this software.

After you have read and accepted the standard agreement on the next page, we will review your submission and respond to you as soon as is reasonably possible.

In addition, while Fovia's software does not require expensive graphics cards or other specialized hardware, it is important that it be run on hardware with the appropriate CPUs and memory. Examples of hardware configurations that meet our current minimum specs for researchers are listed below:

  • Single i7-980X (6 total cores at 3.3Ghz) with 4GB of memory

  • Dual Xeon E5620 (8 total cores at 2.40Ghz) with 4GB of memory

  • Dual Opteron 6168 (12 total cores at 1.9Ghz) with 4GB of memory
